Nick Hext is backing Portsmouth to draw with Rotherham in Sunday's Sky Bet League One game live on Sky Sports.
Portsmouth to draw with Rotherham, Sky Bet League One (Sunday 1430 BST, Sky Sports Football)
Sunday's only match in the EFL is the intriguing Sky Bet League One clash between Portsmouth and Rotherham, live on Sky Sports. Kenny Jackett's Pompey drew 1-1 at Wigan last weekend, as predicted in this column, and I'm going for this match to finish in a fourth draw in a row for the Fratton Park outfit. Rotherham are looking to halt a run of three defeats on the spin and a point will be a welcome return for the Millers. Go for the Portsmouth draw again.
Peterborough to beat Doncaster, Sky Bet League One (Saturday 1500 BST)
Four Sky Bet League One wins in a row to start the season and Peterborough just have to be backed to win on the road at Doncaster on Saturday afternoon. Posh have won 4-1 in both of their matches on the road this term and momentum is building for a promotion push, one year later than I hoped after backing Grant McCann's side to go up in my previous ante-post preview. Doncaster are yet to win at home in the league since winning promotion and I just can't have them as the favourites for a three-point haul. Back Peterborough to make it a famous five.
Bradford host Bristol Rovers in the first of two Sky Bet League One games live on Sky Sports this weekend. There should be plenty of entertainment here after the respective last two matches played by these sides. Bradford won 4-2 at Chesterfield in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek to follow up a 3-3 draw at Walsall last weekend, while Rovers beat Wycombe 5-1 on Tuesday night to build on a 3-1 victory at home to Fleetwood. It therefore shouldn't surprise you that I'm going for goals at the Northern Commercials Stadium as the best bet.
Swindon to beat Barnet, Sky Bet League Two (Saturday 1500 BST)
The pressure is on Swindon to claim a first home win of the season and I think they will get the job done against Barnet. The Robins suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to struggling Crawley last weekend but David Flitcroft won't allow his players to make the same mistake again. Barnet arrive at the County Ground having lost four matches on the spin and they are the perfect opponents for Swindon to transfer their positive form on their travels to their own turf.
