Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Hurst is the new favourite to takeover from Mick McCarthy at Sky Bet Championship club Ipswich Town.
The 43-year-old has been backed into 6/4 with EFL title sponsors Sky Bet, despite previously being as high as 33/1 for the vacancy.
Hurst had led the Shropshire side to the post-season play-offs, despite starting the campaign as 6/4 favourites for relegation.
Town will finish third in Sky Bet League one, facing one of Scunthorpe, Charlton or Plymouth in the play-offs.
Prior to Salop, Hurst had spells in charge of Ilkeston Town, Boston United and Grimsby Town, getting the latter promoted to the Football League.
Ipswich Manager First League Game 2018/19 Season (odds via Sky Bet)
- Paul Hurst - 6/4
- Chris Coleman - 7/2
- Shefki Kuqi - 6/1
- Paul Cook - 8/1
- Frank Lampard - 12/1
Former Ipswich striker Shefki Kuqi was previously backed into shock favourite to become the next manager of the club.
The 41-year-old was 11/8 but has since drifted out to 6/1.
The Yugoslavia-born forward spent part of his career in Suffolk, scoring 30 goals in 79 appearances for the Tractor Boys between 2003 and 2005.
Kuqi would return on-loan from Crystal Palace in 2008, but failed to score in four games during his second spell.
Labelled the 'flying Finn' for his bizarre goal celebration, Kuqi stepped into management in 2014 when he took over at FC Honka in the Finnish First Division.
