Times are tough at Burnley as the harsh reality of their already testing season shows they've played ten times already and, apart from a few more air miles, have just one solitary Premier League point to show for their efforts.
Finishing seventh last season was remarkable, but their reward has been an ultimately fruitless European jaunt that's come at a huge cost in their Premier League challenge. Things need to buck up, and quickly.
The international break could not have come at a better time and Sean Dyche will hope his men are refreshed, rejuvenated and refocused on what is always their primary target – Premier League survival.
Wolves, though, are warming to their task nicely, having already matched the champions and got a win under their belts – this game is their chance to prove they’re a level above merely just fighting off relegation.
