We chat to Doncaster Rovers stalwart James Coppinger for our My Football Life series, where he told us about working with Bobby Robson, Kenny Dalglish and Uri Geller.
All it took for Doncaster to sign James Coppinger was £30,000, not bad value for a player that has now become synonymous with the club after making more than 600 appearances for them over 17 seasons.
And now, at 40, Coppinger shows no signs of slowing down, as he's still turning out for Rovers with that same hunger to perform week in, week out.
As part of Sporting Life's in-depth My Football Life series, Coppinger talked through all the major highs and lows of his long and distinguished career not only at Doncaster but also spells at both St James' Parks - Newcastle and Exeter - as he plied his trade at both ends of the country before settling in South Yorkshire and becoming etched into Doncaster folklore.
Not many players have been signed by Kenny Dalglish, worked with Bobby Robson and also had close encounters with Uri Geller and Michael Jackson! It's been a colourful career for Coppinger, and he's not quite done yet.
