A clash that has all the ingredients to be a memorable Merseyside derby.
Everton will be determined to build on their midweek win and, more importantly, to damage their city rivals' title hopes as we enter the final 10 games of the Premier League season.
Liverpool can stay ahead of Manchester City with a win and they undoubtedly hold the psychological edge after going on an 18-match unbeaten run against the Toffees. Most recently, their December meeting saw Divock Origi score a late winner after Jordan Pickford's error, which famously led to Jurgen Klopp's exuberant celebration on the pitch at Anfield.
Whether or not we get a high-scoring edition of one of the sport's most famous showdowns remains to be seen, but this game comes at a pivotal time in the Premier League title race and seems sure to deliver drama.

Prediction: Everton 1-1 Liverpool (Sky Bet odds: 6/1)
Man City's win at Bournemouth on Saturday means the Reds know that anything but maximum points will see them fall behind in the title race, but the Toffees will also be fired up, in the hope they can dent their city rivals' title chances. It could be a little cagey at first, but hopefully as dramatic as the north London derby and we may get a similar outcome, with Everton fancied to get a result.
Best bet: Everton to receive the most bookings at 5/4
This looks the best bet given the expected rhythm of the game, one in which Liverpool should dominate possession and where tackles will go flying in. Marco Silva's side have a slightly worse disciplinary record than Jurgen Klopp's men this term and, especially if they go behind, you can see Everton being frustrated off the ball and committing fouls. Martin Atkinson's is the man in charge, with the Yorkshire referee averaging over three bookings per game this term, and Everton to receive more than Liverpool is overpriced at 5/4.

There can be value in the shots market and this combination is not too big an ask considering the amount of attempts the latter duo can deliver. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected to lead the line for the hosts and will be full of confidence after scoring in midweek against Cardiff, and he averages nearly a shot per game, while Mo Salah and Sadio Mane total nearly six shots between them on average per game. The latter is in red-hot form too, having scored six in as many Premier League games, and is priced quite generously to score anytime at 13/8.
