Stevenage to beat Cambridge, Sky Bet League Two

The price for Stevenage to win at Cambridge has been coming in over the last couple of days and I can understand why. Darren Sarll's promotion contenders have won nine, drawn one and lost one of their last 11 matches to make them the in-form side in Sky Bet League Two. That leads to the 23/10 for the away win still being well worth taking. Cambridge are performing pretty well at the moment but their strength is on the road as they have only won one of their last eight contests on their own turf. Stevenage should be shorter in the prices so back the away victory.

Other bets worth considering:

Sheffield United to beat Oldham by one goal, Sky Bet League One

Sheffield United are on the way to the Sky Bet League One title and I reckon they can push closer to promotion with a narrow win at Oldham. I don't see it being easy for the Blades though as the Latics have been showing plenty of steel since John Sheridan's return to the club. Oldham have only lost one of their last nine games, four draws included in that run, and that gives me the belief that they will once again avoid the drop. Chris Wilder's Blades are in even better form than that, seven wins and two draws the return from their previous nine matches, and I'm sure they can secure another victory. The leaders have claimed three of their last five wins by one goal and that's where my vote goes at 12/5 for this encounter.

Both teams to score in Scunthorpe v Bradford, Sky Bet League One

Sky Bet League One play-off contenders Scunthorpe and Bradford meet on Sunday in the first of two EFL games live on Sky Sports 1. Kick-off is at 1230 GMT at Glanford Park and hosts Scunthorpe really need the three points. The Iron have lost five of their last six matches to end their hopes of automatic promotion and now the focus is on getting back on track to bag a play-off finish. Fourth-placed Bradford sit two points above Scunthorpe prior to this match and it's no surprise that they are priced up as favourites to get the three points. My top tip though is to get with both teams to score. That has been a winner in 11 of Bradford's last 13 matches and there's another attacking talent on show to bring in the bet once again.

Doncaster to draw with Plymouth, Sky Bet League Two

The second live match on Sky Sports 1 at 1445 GMT on Sunday sees the top two in Sky Bet League Two go head-to-head. Leaders Doncaster have home advantage against Plymouth at the Keepmoat Stadium but they are too short for my liking as the odds-on favourites to get the win. Rovers have only lost one of their last 10 games but five of those matches finished in draws and that's my prediction against Argyle. Visitors Plymouth have been more inconsistent recently but two wins and three draws in their previous five games on the road points to a side that remains hard to beat. The 11/4 for the draw is well worth a look.
