With four English clubs into the Champions League quarter final for the first time since 2008/09 Friday will be very exciting for all concerned. Here is our guide to Friday's draw and all the information you need to know.

When is the draw?

The draw for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be on Friday March 15 in Nyon, Switzerland. The scheduled start time is 1100 (GMT).

Where can I watch the draw?

You can watch the draw on your TV via BT Sport 2.

Online you can watch it on the UEFA website and also is available on the Sky Sports and on Sky Sports News websites.

How does the draw work?

There is no seeding at this stage or country protection, meaning English sides could face each other. The club drawn out first for each tie will play the first leg at home.

What happens after the draws?

After the quarter-final and semi-final draws, there will be a draw for the final on the same day.

The draw for the final will determine the 'home' side for administrative reasons.

What are the dates for the quarter and semi finals?

The first leg of the quarter-finals will be played on April 9 and 10, while the return legs are scheduled on April 16 and 17. The match days will be decided according to the draw.

The first leg of the semi-finals will be played on April 30 and May 1 and the return legs are scheduled for May 7 and 8.

When is the final?

The final will take place in Spain at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Saturday June 1.

How did we get to this stage?

Liverpool joined the other three Premier League outfits - Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Manchester United, in the quarter finals with their 3-1 away win over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Manchester City also progressed this week, with a thumping 7-0 second leg victory over Schalke, winning 10-2 on aggregate.Tottenham and Manchester United got into the hat the previous week.

United dramatically came back away at PSG to progress on away goals. The tie finished 3-3 thanks to an injury time penalty from Marcus Rashford.

Tottenham completed an impressive victory over Borussia Dortmund 1-0 away to win 4-1 overall.

Barcelona, the only Spanish side left in the tournament, will be in the pot after their dominate 5-1 victory over Lyon. The Catalan giants will want to make a statement this season, following their recent failures in the Champions League quarter-final stage.

Juventus are the only Italian team through to the quarters after their stunning comeback win over Atletico Madrid, who won the Round of 16 first leg 2-0. But Cristiano Ronaldo's eighth career hat-trick in the Champions League helped the Old Lady to beat the Spanish team 3-0 in the return leg in Turin.

Ajax and Porto are the other two sides who managed to book their places in the quarter-finals of Europe's most prestigious club competition.

Teams will be keen to avoid facing Ajax after their recent display against Real Madrid, while Porto could also spring up a surprise or two, following their win over last season's semi-finalists - Roma. Manchester City and Tottenham are the only teams left in the Champions League who are yet to win the competition.
