The Aussies' recent record here leaves much to be desired, with four defeats in their last nine, but England's current woes and historical record here - they've lost their last seven in Perth and all by huge margins - means that a series-clinching win for the hosts has to be the call.
The WACA is Warner's favourite ground. Three centuries and a 97 in his five Tests here so far, and a WACA average of almost 90.
Alastair Cook got his first Ashes century here in 2006, Ben Stokes did so in 2013. The pitch may be legendary for its great pace and bounce but in truth, having been relaid in both 2000 and 2008, it is now a flat batting deck. Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon each average over 50 with the ball here, while Mitchell Starc's mark is only 30. Pat Cummins has never played a Test here. It's a case of "if not now, when?" for England's under-performing batsmen.
Warner made 253 here two years ago, and was promptly upstaged by a 290 from Ross Taylor. Every chance for someone to go really big here, where run-rates are likely to be far higher than those seen in the first two Tests.
