We spend the day with head coach Andrew Gale to see what goes into building a squad for the new campaign and to experience the demands of being a modern coach.

We watch Gale close up as he works with the likes of England internationals David Willey and Gary Ballance, while we also sit in on a team management meeting as plans are put in place to prepare the team for the new season.

As well as a one-to-one interview with Gale, Richard Mann also speaks to captain Steven Patterson and former England opening batsman Adam Lyth.
