Tyson Fury v Otto Wallin: Date, fight time, TV channel and cost, streaming, betting odds, fighter records & undercard

Tyson Fury is back in heavyweight boxing action against Otto Wallin in Las Vegas this weekend and we have all you need to know ahead of the big fight.

The unbeaten 'Gypsy King' (28-0-1, 20 KOs) is preparing for his third successive fight Stateside and second in Las Vegas when he takes on the relatively known Swedish boxer (20-0, 13 KOs) at the iconic T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night (Sunday morning UK time).

Fury, who has vowed to put on a show to remember on Mexican Independence Day, is also chasing convincing back-to-back wins since the highly controversial draw with WBC champion Deontay Wilder last year and you could probably count on one hand the number of observers predicting a huge upset.

The 31-year-old's longer term target is of course a 2020 rematch with Wilder although he's been keen to stress in another typically entertaining fight week that he's focusing on the job at hand.

Here's some key details ahead of the fight including the latest odds, what we know about Wallin, records, TV information, start times, tale of the tape, and the undercard.

Otto Wallin could make things awkward for Tyson Fury on Saturday night but our boxing expert is backing the favourite to bring things to an end in the second half.

Chris Oliver also has a strong fancy for the undercard and you can read his full preview right here.

What is Tyson Fury's record?

The unbeaten Tyson Fury has fought 28 times in his career and has won 27 of them, with the only 'blemish' being the draw with Deontay Wilder last year that many felt he did enough to win on the judges card - despite having to come back from a stunning knockdown Lazarus-style.

It wasn't the first time he had to pick himself up from the canvas in the USA against a home fighter, having also done the same against former world cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham at Madison Square Garden back in 2013.

Four fights and two years after this superb seventh-round stoppage victory, Fury found himself up against the great Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, where he demonstrated remarkable intelligence and composure as the underdog to outbox him and claim the IBF, WBA and WBO titles.

The 31-year-old Mancunian had to relinquished those belts after much-publicised mental health problems and a ban for a failed drugs test, while he also had big problems with his diet, ballooning to 28 stone during the toughest period in his life so far.

But he's now produced one of these great comebacks the sport has ever seen to get his career firmly back on track and it shouldn't be too much longer before he gets another shot at a world heavyweight belt to complement his status as lineal champion - which he's been ever since defeating Klitschko.

Who is Otto Wallin?

So little is known of the 6ft 5in fighter from the small town of Sundsvall, 250 miles north of Stockholm, that Tyson Fury's team have admitted they struggled to find any footage of him in action to research!

although he recently moved to the USA in a bid to make his mark on the boxing scene.

Although Andy Ruiz’s shock win over Anthony Joshua proved anything can happen - especially in the world of the heavyweights - a victory for Wallin, who recently moved to the USA in a bid to pursue his career, would comfortably top the Mexican's achievement.

It would be on a par to the fellow Swede Ingemar Johansson's shock triumph over world champion Floyd Patterson 60 years ago.

The 28-year-old Swede is a southpaw with a record of 13 knockouts in an unbeaten 20-fight career while he also prides himself as a technician.

And with Fury a heavy favourite to retain his lineal heavyweight title this weekend, it might take an Ali-esque performance for Wallin to keep his dream of becoming the first Swedish world champion since 1959 alive.
