Joshua v Klitschko: Tyson compares AJ to George Foreman

Mike Tyson admits he's a fan of Anthony Joshua and is looking forward to watching his clash with Wladimir Klitschko.

The heavyweight legend will be stateside watching Saturday's Wembley Stadium showdown, which is being shown live on Showtime and Sky Sports Box Office.

Tyson, the former undisputed world champion, admits he is a big admirer of Joshua.

"I am looking forward to this one," he told Sky Sports pundit Johnny Nelson.

"I'm excited we are going to get to see Joshua. He is just a beast. A big beast."

With HBO also showing the Wembley event, Joshua-Klitschko will become only the third fight in history to be seen on both American channels.

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao's 'Fight of the Century' followed the 2002 battle between Lennox Lewis and Tyson.

The 50-year-old Tyson likened Joshua to another hard-hitting heavyweight, but refused to rule out Klitschko's chances of victory.

"Joshua reminds me of a young George Foreman," he said.

"He is just wrecking anyone that's in front of him to get to the top. He is demolishing everyone.

"In my mind, it's got to be Joshua early on - and I hope he does it - but if it goes late it could be Klitschko."
