Won selling hurdle and Uttoxeter handicap last summer but has struggled in handicaps since. Plenty to prove.

Showed a bit in a couple of bumpers for Gordon Elliott and produced best effort to date for current stable when fourth in novice hurdle at Warwick (16f, heavy) in November. Disappointing handicap debut at Southwell 33 days ago but may strip fitter for it and he's tongue tied now.

Just modest form to date over hurdles but he's bred to do better and shaped as if he'd come on for the run on handicap debut at Exeter last time. Not dismissed.

Well held in 2 bumpers but signs of encouragement over hurdles so far and could up his game now handicapping after a break.

Boasts a pretty good strike rate over hurdles, regaining winning thread at Newton Abbot (16.7f) in September and similar form when runner-up at that venue later that month. Likely needed the run at Uttoxeter last time and should be back on track.

Had the race was in the bag when she crashed out at the final flight on her handicap debut at Hereford in February 2023 but shaped as if badly in need of the run here 9 months later and has been off a further 177 days since.

Snapped losing run at Sedgefield (16.8f) in January and creditable efforts both subsequent outings. Has left David Thompson prior to this (off 2 months) and is worthy of a market check.

Telescope mare who offered some promise in maidens/novices but struggled on handicap debut at Taunton a couple of months ago. Others preferred.

Offered little before causing a surprise to open account over fences at Ludlow (2m, heavy) in February and back on track when runner-up at this course three weeks ago. Back over smaller obstacles on a fair mark.

6/4, creditable second of 6 in handicap hurdle at this course (20f, heavy) 37 days ago, travelling well. Leaves the impression there's a better effort in him and this looks the ideal opportunity for him to open his account.

Down the field in minor event/maidens on Flat and yet to offer any encouragement over hurdles.

Limited maiden who has been out of sorts for a while.

Far more miss than hit and was down the field at Taunton 3 months ago, so hard to make a solid case for.
