Picture Taylor - missed last four games.

TAYLOR IN LINE FOR MAGPIES RETURN

Newcastle boss Chris Hughton is looking forward to welcoming Steven Taylor back into his squad for Saturday's home clash with Peterborough.

The 23-year-old has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury, and saw Hungarian youngster Tamas Kadar line-up alongside Fabricio Coloccini in central defence at Sheffield United on Monday evening.

Hughton decided not to risk Taylor at Bramall Lane, but could include him for this weekend's game at St James' Park.

He told the club's official website: "Steven could have probably, at a push, played against Sheffield United.

"We chose not to risk him and that decision paid off. But he will be fine for the weekend and we look forward to welcoming him back."

Taylor missed successive Championship defeats at Nottingham Forest and Scunthorpe, as well as the wins over Doncaster and the Blades which took the Magpies back to the top of the table.
