Horse Racing Tips: Nap of the Day
David Ord had a couple of Saturday winners - now Ian Ogg has the Sunday best bets.

INTINSO - 3.00 Newmarket (NAP)
Hamstrung by his tendency to pull hard, INTINSO didn't realise his full potential at three but a gelding operation appears to have helped although he still has a tendency to race keenly. A wide margin win at Wolverhampton - for which he received an 8lb rise - was followed by a respectable effort at Kempton over 11 furlongs in a race where the first two held those positions throughout. Intinso did best of the remainder and the way he stayed on suggests that this first run over 14 furlongs will suit (he is a half-brother to a two mile winner) and, also, that he can win from this career high mark.
VOLTAIC - 2.10 Salisbury
Sarah Bowen is VOLTAIC's regular partner and the duo have successfully combined twice, including at this track over a mile last July. That was on good ground but Voltaic is a heavy ground winner too and is 3lbs lower than for that, his most recent, success. He hasn't been running badly since, at least until his last two starts which were a little below par but the busy gelding has been given a short break and may fare better having been freshened up. It's been a while since Voltaic has won over a trip this short but he was in the front rank a furlong out for his course win and the testing conditions will bring his stamina into play.
CAVALIER APPROACH - 3.10 Hamilton Park
Ed Bethell has his string in good order and CAVALIER APPROACH can reap the benefit of his seasonal reappearance and maintain his perfect course record. A winner here over five and six furlongs last season, he does have to prove that he can win races from this sort of mark - one which is 4lbs above his last victory - but he appeared to have plenty left in the locker in September and is fancied to prove up to the task.
